Bio:
Newcastle Based artist Jennifer Hankin originally trained as a classical musician at the University of Newcastle, but over the past 5 years has taken a whimsical detour through the traditions of folk and jazz. She creates dense forests of music with her Ukulele, Flute, Voice and Loop Pedal, transporting the listener to far off places. The Emerald Ruby is a music based multidisciplinary experience.
Made.In.Newcastle Project:
The Emerald Ruby presented a concert and music workshop at The Edwards. Participants learned to play folk tunes by ear as well as how to write their own.
