Curious Legends is Newcastle theatre company that dreams big. We believe in the inherent wonder of the world around us, and the importance of sharing this with audiences young and old through puppetry, music, storytelling and visual theatre.
We are based in Newcastle, Australia, and have delighted audiences throughout the Hunter, Maitland, Sydney and Canberra. Further afield, our work has toured to the jungles of Central Kalimantan, Indonesia, and the medieval town of Freiburg in Germany.
We’re big on collaboration, and work with a wide range of actors, puppeteers, community members, designers, and artists to breathe life into our productions!
Fingers Crossed Creative
Fingers Crossed Creative is a Newcastle based multifaceted creative services entity. We provide solutions for any & all creativity based requirements – from creative consultation to creative management to full production & facilitation of creative packages etc. Basically, we make cool stuff happen.
We are also the producers & owners of the highly successful and rather bizarre “Intergalacular Sci Fi Spectacular” cabaret show and The Hangar venue.
Newcastle Art Space
The Newcastle Art Space was established in 1983 as the Newcastle Community Arts Centre (NCAC), and we are a vital contributor to the rich cultural life of Newcastle and the Hunter. For more than 30 years we have worked to facilitate, showcase and develop creativity across a spectrum of arts activity.
We provide affordable art studios, an artist-run gallery, and unique professional development opportunities. We also host local art prizes and mentorship programs to further support professional arts practice in the Hunter.
