Bio:
Byren Sawell is a local artist primarily focused on the areas of music performance & production. He has been performing and creating works in various bands & art/performance collectives for the past five years.
Byren’s current musical project is Photo of the Moon. This folk-infused alternative rock troupe wins crowds over with tenderness and ferocity, hypnotising audiences with mighty lungs and intoxicating lyrics.
Made.In.Newcastle Project:
As part of New Annual, Photo of the Moon presented ‘Wax Lyrical’ – an ethereal night of music, storytelling and poetry from a handful of Newcastle’s finest. The show at The Royal Exchange Salon Theatre allowed guests to uncover the hidden gems within the hidden gem that is our town.
